LIVING DOLLS   Wri/Dir/Prod Todd Coleman
This NYU psychological horror thriller played for 13 years on Cable TV (HBO, Cinemax, USA Networks, etc.) and won nine international awards, including First Prize in Australia, Second Prize in Belgium and Spain, Best Entertainment Film in Jacksonville, and a Cine Eagle.  It started as a project for Haig Manoogian's undergraduate Sight and Sound class at NYU, and was partly edited (on weekends and evenings) on the same KEM that RAGING BULL was being cut on (where I was working as De Niro's personal assistant). Scorsese later dedicated RAGING BULL to Haig Manoogian, and the film won an Oscar for Best Editing (a meaningless coincidence, to be sure).
"After years of searching, I finally found Living Dolls online and watched it after almost 20 years. Makes me shiver as much now as it did then. The final frame was one of the most frightening images I've ever seen and one that I won't forget. Thank you for making your vision a reality. Work like yours reminds me of what entertainment really can be."
